TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CAR RENTALS
FINES
All fines and administrative charges are to be paid by the client.
DRIVER’S AGE
The client has to be at least 23 years old for small, medium and big size vehicles.
For the special category vehicles and the “V.I.P” cars, the minimum driver’s age has to be 25 years.
DRIVING LICENSE
The client must be the holder of a valid Hellenic or European Union driving license or of an International driving license, issued in any country by the competent authority.
INSURANCE
DRIVE Plus Car Rentals® customers are insured for third parties’ personal injuries and property damage, in accordance with the country’s applicable law and for the amount it lays down.
The customer has the option to choose to be insured at an additional charge (depending on the car category) with Mixed Insurace (CDW), which means it ALSO covers the rented car’s material damages and pays ONLY the exempted amount, depending on the type of rental.
Additional (optional) insurance for theft (TPI) is available to the Drive Plus car rentals customers for a daily charge that depends on the type of rental.
Further to the above insurance coverage, the DRIVE Plus Car Rentals® customer can choose the Super Cover, which does not have any deductible amount at an extra charge after consulting with the company.
MINIMUM RENTAL TIME
The minimum rental time is one day, for all categories of vehicles.
GUARANTEE
It is paid in advance and equals the Mixed Insurance (C.D.W) exempted sum of each category.
FUEL-PETROL
To be paid solely by the client.
DRIVER’S PERSONAL INSURANCE
The driver’s personal insurance (P.A.I) is available for the sum of 5€ per day, provided that the driver accepts and signs this clause in the rental agreement. Thus the driver is covered for up to 20.000€.
RESPONSIBILITY WAVER
The client is exonerated from responsibility of all damages to the rented vehicle provided that he accepts and signs the clauses regarding the additional mixed insurance (C.D.W) and insurance against theft (T.P.I).The insurance company, on the basis of the singed contract, does not cover a certain amount, namely: the sum of 500€ for the small, medium and big size category vehicles, 900€ for the special category vehicles and 1000€ for the “V.I.P” vehicles. Caution, the mixed insurance and the insurance against theft are valid only if the regulations of the Traffic Code are observed. Please note also that mixed insurance does not cover damages to the tyres, to the undercarriage and to the interior of the car.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
Baggage rack (when possible), anti-slip chains or child seats are available at an extra daily charge of 5€.
CHANGING THE VEHICLE CATEGORY
The initial booking is binding for the vehicle category. In extreme situations, Drive Plus car rentals may change the vehicle category, if it is deemed necessary.
DELIVERIES
Deliveries take place at the offices of our company or at the Athens International Airport “El.Venizelos”, during Drive Plus car rentals working hours, AT NO EXTRA COST.
The price for each delivery that takes place within the city limits is pre-arranged by the company. For longer distances and for all car categories he customer is charged with 0.30€ per km except for the “Special category” and the “V.I.P” where the cost goes to 0,45€ per km. For night deliveries -returns (between 20:00 – 09:00 hours), the fee is 20€.
RENTING OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY
Customers who wish to travel beyond the Hellenic borders in a Drive Plus car rentals vehicle, can do so with the company’s prior consent in writing and having acquired with the necessary insurance documents.
TRAVELING WITH A FERRY BOAT
Customers who wish to travel by ferry in a Drive Plus car rentals vehicle, can do so with the company’s prior consent in writing.
Prices may be modified without warning and they do not include V.A.T. (24%)

Rate is guaranteed. Taxes, fees and extras, if not included in the Rate, are subject to change.
Note: There may be discrepancies between charge detail amounts and totals. Total amounts are correct.
RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
‘Total’ does not include any additional items you may select at the location or any costs arising from the rental (such as damage, fuel or road traffic charges). For renters under the age of 25, additional charges may apply, and are payable at the location.
CHECKLIST – WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- When you collect your vehicle you will need the credit/debit card you used to make your booking (if you used a debit card, you will need that card plus a valid credit card in your name) and a full and valid driving licence for each driver. Issued at least for one year. • Also, the name and details of the renter must be the same as the person that made the reservation.
PAYMENT, PRICING & CHARGES
- We accept the majority of debit cards. If you have questions about the acceptability of your form of payment, please ask our representative during the reservation procedure. • Although we try to ensure that all prices quoted on our websites are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. We will inform you as soon as possible if we discover an error in the price of your reservation and give you the opportunity to confirm your booking at the correct price or cancel. Our usual cancellation charges will not apply if you choose to cancel. If you cancel and you have already paid for your rental, you will receive a full refund. If we are unable to contact you we will treat your reservation as cancelled. • Estimated amount to be paid at the counter is based on available information at the time of reservation for renters age 25 and older. This does not include any additional items you may choose at the location, such as refuelling, insurances, etc. • Where the booking is a prepaid booking and additional extras have been selected, the total charge is estimated based on local currency conversion where applicable, at time of booking, and is subject to change at time of pick-up.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
- A Young Driver Surcharge may apply if you or any additional driver is under 25 years old. • Age restrictions are based on the current insurance Drive Plus® policy. • Depending on car grouping you are renting, some vehicles may have a minimum age of between 25 and 30, so please check “Age restrictions” for your eligibility to drive them.
CHANGES TO YOUR RESERVATION
- You can amend your reservation free of charge if you will Contact Us on our web site, or on our 24 hours call center (+30) 6944 441731 although we reserve the right to charge an administration fee. • If you make a change we will recalculate your rental charges based on current prices, which may be more or less than the price originally booked. Please note that you must use the same credit/debit card you used to make the original booking or you will need to cancel and make a new reservation. • We are unable to accept changes to the renter or the pick-up location. If you want to change these, you will need to cancel and make a new reservation.
CANCELLATIONS • Drive Plus® car rentals allows you to cancel prepaid and pay at location reservations, if we are informed by calling our 24hours call center 7 days at least in advance.
CANCELLATIONS: PREPAID RESERVATIONS
- a. If the cancellation is made before midnight seven days before the date of your scheduled pick-up, we will fully refund your prepayment without charges
- b. If the cancellation is made after this time and before the scheduled pick-up time, we will refund your prepayment less an administration charge of: 90 euros. • Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card that the original booking was made on, or in cash.
- c. Failure to cancel the reservation before your scheduled pick-up time will result on a No-Show/Lost Rental Charge oφ the total reservation amount.
CANCELLATIONS: PAY AT LOCATION RESERVATIONS
- a. Pay at location reservations can be cancelled any time before your scheduled pick-up time without an administrative charge.
- b. Failure to cancel the reservation before your scheduled pick-up time will result on a No-Show/Lost Rental Charge as per above.
NO SHOWS/ LOST RENTALS
- a. If you fail to cancel your reservation prior to the Pick-Up Time and do not collect the vehicle on the Pick-Up Date, or if you fail to comply with the pick-up terms, we reserve the right to make a No Show/Lost Rental Charge of the total reservation amount which recovers our administration costs and compensates us for our inability to rent the vehicle when it was reserved for your use.
- b. For prepaid reservations, we will refund your prepayment less the No Show/Lost Rental Total Charge, if you contact us within 90 days of the Pick-Up Date.
CHANGES AT TIME OF PICK UP
- If at the time of vehicle collection you wish to rent a larger car or rent for a longer period, you may do so, subject to availability, on payment of additional charges. Such charges will be quoted at a higher rate than those previously quoted.
EARLY RETURN
- Please note that we are unable to give a refund if you return the vehicle early.
LATE RETURN CHARGE
- We reserve the right to make a Late Return Charge of 25 EUR to compensate us in part for the costs we incur in finding an alternative vehicle to satisfy our next booking for your vehicle and for our administration costs in contacting you to return the vehicle.
NATURE OF THIS AGREEMENT
- These reservation terms cover your booking with us Drive Plus® car rentals / D.GKIOKAS P.C and are governed by Greek law. Your rental terms will be given to you and are on every rental Agreement.
- Acceptance of your reservation and completion of this contract for provision of a rental vehicle will occur when the vehicle is made available for your use on the agreed pick up date by Drive Plus® company providing your rental.
DESTINATION SPECIFIC TERMS FUEL
- Please see our Fuel Policy on our “Terms and Conditions” part of your contract. The cash refund for fuel difference to the client, is not accepted.
PENALTIES
- 1. Race track driving: It is forbidden to drive the vehicle on race tracks even if these are approved for general traffic,In the case of violations against this provision Drive Plus® can charge a contractual penalty of EUR 2,500.or can interrupt the Rental Agreement.
- 2. Reporting of accidents: If you fail to fulfil your duty to report an accident to the police and/or Drive Plus® 24 hours call center, or if you do not file this accident report as quickly as possible, therefore with a delay, you must pay Drive Plus® a contractual penalty of EUR 500.*
- 3. Unauthorised driver: The vehicle may only be driven by the hirer or a driver who has been authorised to do so by us. Any violation of this stipulation and provision of the vehicle to a third party means that you are obliged to pay a contractual penalty of EUR 500. and occur an insurance loss in total. Requirements for Collection • The named driver must present a valid driver’s licence issued at least for one year and at least one credit or debit card in his/her name, which must be the one used for the online booking. • When you collect the vehicle we will block a reservation amount on your credit or debit card to cover us for all unpaid rental and optional extra charges. The reserved amount will not be accessible by you during your rental. We will release the reservation amount after final calculation and payment of your rental charges on return (minus any charges). However, it may take up to 30 days to show in your account due to your card issuer’s processes. For more information please call your bank directly. Approximate rental charges are based on available information at the time of reservation. Additional fees or surcharges may be applied at time of rental.

Insurance Excess Information
Please note that our Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection policies have an excess amount based on car category payable by the renter should there be loss or damage to the vehicle during the rental.
In the event that Drive Plus® discovers improper or dangerous use of the rented vehicle, financial hardship of the customer and non-compliance with the payment terms (prepayment of each rental period or its extension), Drive Plus® car rentals reserves the right to IMMEDIATELY REMOVΕ THE VEHICLE anywhere, by any of its representatives, without the consent of the renter.
RENTAL AGREEMENT
We rent the vehicle to you subject to the terms of the Rental Agreement, which incorporates the information, terms and conditions contained in these Rental Terms and your Rental Record and which you accept by signing the Rental Record. Vehicle: All references to “the vehicle” in these Rental Terms are to the vehicle we supply to you for your rental, including any replacements, plus all parts and accessories belonging to the vehicle and any additional equipment provided to you, such as child seats, ski racks, ski chains etc.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Your:
You are responsible for ensuring that you care for, use and return the vehicle in accordance with these Rental Terms, accepting responsibility to us if the vehicle is returned late, lost or damaged, as well as for traffic fines and other charges that arise during the rental.
Our:
We are responsible to you for providing the vehicle in good overall and operating condition and for replacing the vehicle in the event of breakdown. We are responsible to you for loss and damage you incur from our gross negligence or willful misconduct. We are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, including loss of profits or loss of opportunity. This limitation of liability does not apply in cases of death and injury or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
LONG-TERM RENTALS:
If your rental is for 30 days or longer, you must present or return the vehicle to our rental location at least every 30 days or at ny time when requested by us. We reserve the right to terminate this Rental Agreement verbally or in writing at any time.
DISPUTES:
We aim to resolve all disputes amicably.
If this is not possible, the law of Greece will apply, and the courts of Athens will have jurisdiction.
If during a dispute any part of the Rental Agreement is held to be illegal or unenforceable under applicable law it shall be considered to have been deleted, leaving the remainder in full force and effect.
USE RESTRICTIONS:
The vehicle belongs to D.GKIOKAS P.C / Drive Plus® car rentals and you are not allowed to sub-rent, transfer or sell it. In addition, the vehicle may not be used:
– off road or on roads unsuitable for the vehicle
(including racetracks)
– when it is overloaded with passengers and/ or baggage
– to tow or push any vehicle, trailer or other object (without our express permission)
– to carry anything which may harm the vehicle (including explosive or combustible materials) or delay our ability to rent the vehicle again (because of its condition or smell)
– to carry passengers for remuneration– to carry cargo for remuneration (except in the case of trucks and vans)
– to take part in any race, rally or other contest– in restricted areas, including airport service roads and associated areas
– in contravention of any traffic or other regulations or for any illegal purpose
AUTHORISED DRIVER:
Only the renter and any other person authorized by us may drive the vehicle, although they may not drive if they are over-tired or under the influence of any substance that may impair their consciousness or ability to react, such as alcohol, drugs or certain medication.
TAKING THE VEHICLE ABROAD:
Cross Border: The renter is not permitted to drive the rented car out of Greek borders, at any reason without a prior authorization and insurance cover from Drive Plus®.
MULTIPLE RENTALS:
You may not rent more than 2 vehicles at any time unless you have set up a corporate account with us and have our prior permission to do so.
IN CASE OF BREACH OF USE RESTRICTIONS:
In case of breach of use restrictions, the following happens:
– You will be responsible for any damage, losses and expenses we suffer as a result. – You lose the benefit of any insurance or waivers of liability you have taken (see Insurances / Waivers, p. 24-26).
– We will terminate the Rental Agreement and take the vehicle back at any time at your expense.

This document contains your Rental Terms and forms a contract between you and us relating to your rental. It also acts as a quick reference guide, containing all you need to know about your Drive Plus® rental. To help us maintain the quality of our vehicles, we need you to observe the following restrictions.
LIABILITY:
You are responsible for all losses and costs incurred, per incident, to us if the vehicle is lost or damaged during your rental. These may include (amongst others):
– the cost of repairs
– loss in value of the vehicle (NB: this could extend to the full value of the vehicle) – loss of rental income
– towing and storage charges
– an administration charge, which recovers our costs for handling any claim arising from damage caused to the vehicle
Your responsibility may be reduced if you have taken our optional waivers, although these may be void if you do not comply with your responsibilities and obligations in these Rental Terms.
NO LIABILITY:
You will not be responsible to us if the loss or damage is directly due to us.
VEHICLE CONDITION:
Inspection of the vehicle condition:
It is important that you check the condition of the vehicle at the beginning of the rental and on return.
Drive Plus® will have a photo archive (date and time) made at the moment of car’s check out.
You will be responsible for any additional damage which is found when you return the vehicle.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES:
Your responsibility: You are responsible for looking after the vehicle and reducing the risk of breakdown and damage by complying with our restrictions on use.
You must also make sure you use the correct fuel and check the tires, oil and other fluid gauges, refilling if necessary.
Your responsibility:
You are responsible for the security of the vehicle and should try to minimize the risk of theft or vandalism by parking in a safe place. Always remove valuable items (including any removable radio or GPS unit from sight, activate any security device provided and make sure the vehicle is locked. You must also comply with our return instructions.
ACCIDENT:
Procedure: You need to take the following steps:
– Call Drive Plus® 24hours call center (+30) 6944 441731 to report it.
– Report the accident to the police immediately (112)
and call Accident Care Service using the number provided by Drive Plus® representative.
– The procedure above has to be followed even if there is no damage on the rented car.
– Do not admit fault. Take the names and addresses of everyone involved, including
witnesses, and collect the information requested (phone number, insurance company, full name)
Procedure: If you experience any problem with the vehicle due to mechanical failure or accident, you should contact us by calling the 24 hours call center of Drive Plus® and we will organize appropriate help.
Although this service is included in your rate, you will be responsible to us for any breakdown call out costs we incur where you are at fault
REPAIR:
Procedure: Please note that you must not allow anyone to service or repair the vehicle without our permission.
THEFT:
Procedure: If the vehicle is stolen you need to
inform the police immediately, provide us a full police report,
call Drive Plus 24 hours call center and report it, so we can track the vehicle as
soon as possible.
Preventive Measures: You must be able to show that you have taken appropriate care by returning the keys and any remote control antitheft device to us.
We will supply the vehicle to you in good and road-worthy condition. You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition, subject to fair wear and tear.
YOUR COMMITMENT:
In addition, you agree to co-operate with us and our insurers in any investigation or subsequent legal proceedings.
INSURANCES / WAIVERS:
We aim to provide you with the best possible cover through our insurance and waiver products.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
We will waive this liability to the amount of the excess stated on the Rental Record if you purchase the optional products (TP, CDW, PAI,GWI e.t.c). Your responsibility is not reduced by any waiver in case of:
– failure to observe the dimensions of the vehicle e.g. striking overhead or overhanging objects
– inappropriate handling of the vehicle
– mis-fueling
– lost or damaged car keys– lost or damaged accessories
e.g. GPS units, child seats etc.
COVERAGE AND RISKS:
Third Party Liability Insurance: Your rental rate automatically includes Third Party Liability Insurance, which meets all legal requirements and protects you and any authorized driver against claims from any other person for death, personal injury or damage to property caused by the vehicle during your rental.
Risks: This leaves the following risks that you may wish to cover by purchasing our optional insurance and waiver products:
– liability to us for loss of or damage to the vehicle
– personal injury and loss of or damage to personal possessions suffered by you and your passengers
– liability to us for breakdown incidents where you were at fault
OPTIONAL INSURANCES:
For an additional coverage in case of theft, damage, accident and breakdown you can purchase the following optional products:
– Theft Protection (TP)
– Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
– Glass & Windshields (GWI) this insurance can only be chosen, if both products TP and CDW, are accepted. Glass & Windshield Insurance is included if you accept the extra fee.
– SuperCover™(SC); this insurance can only be chosen, if both products TP and CDW, are taken. It can be also provided under an extra notice and agreement with Drive Plus®. – Personal insurance (PΑI)
OWN INSURANCE:
If you have purchased excess waiver insurance or similar from a third party to cover your liability to us for the excess under our waiver products, you will remain liable to us for any amount due up to the excess and must seek reimbursement from your insurer.
LIABILITY:
Without optional insurances:
Unless you purchase our optional waiver products, you will be liable to us for loss of or damage to the vehicle, which may extend to the full value of the vehicle.
Breach the terms of the rental agreement: If you breach the terms of the rental agreement, your insurance and waiver products will be invalid. This means you will be responsible to us (I) for loss of or damage to the vehicle and (II) if we have to compensate any other person (including our insurers).
Premeditation or gross negligence: Note that our insurances and waivers will also be invalid if the loss or damage is caused intentionally or by the gross negligence of you or an authorized driver.
Theft Protection Insurance (TPI)
This applies to each incident related to theft, attempted theft or vandalism.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
This applies to each incident caused other than by theft, attempted theft or vandalism, such as damage caused if you have an accident. Glass & Windshield (GWI)
This is an optional insurance that reduces your potential
liability to us for the excess from CDW or TPI for damages
to the vehicle windows (including sunroof) and windshields nprovided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms of the rental agreement.
CHARGES RENTAL RATES:
Rental charges will be estimated by our representative, based on the existing price list of Drive Plus®.
PAYMENT OF RENTAL CHARGES:
Credit card: If you pay by credit card you authorise Drive Plus® car rentals / D.GKIOKAS P.C – at the time of signing the Rental Agreement – to reserve with the credit card issuer a sufficiently large sum and to obtain the relevant authorisations in order to cover at least the total expected rental costs.
You also authorise Drive Plus® car rentals / D.GKIOKAS P.C to collect, without further instructions from you, directly from your credit card any additional charges which have arisen from your use of the car and which may include the costs of insurance franchise, damage to the car, loss of car keys or accessories, charges not stated on the Rental Record such as oneway charges, refuelling charges, late-return charges, additional driver charge, extra cleaning charge, and any road tolls or fines or charges arising from traffic or parking violations during the rental period (including an administration fee).
Maturity of charges: If you don’t pay your charges in the time indicated on your invoice, we may charge you interest on the outstanding charges at 5% above the applicable central bank policy rate.
FUELOPTIONS DIESEL / UNLEADED / HYBRID VEHICLES:
Your choice: We will supply your vehicle with
a capable fuel level noticed on your Rental Agreement. To enable us to provide the same service for the next customer you may either return the vehicle with the same fuel level, or allow us to fill the tank for you.
Charges: If you take the latter option, you will incur a Refuelling Service Charge at the rate specified on the average selling price for the additional fuel required and the convenience of us refuelling the vehicle for you.
ELECTRICAL VEHICLES:
Battery level: You must return the vehicle with the same battery level as when you picked it up.
If you are not familiar with the car rental
process, the number of potential charges can be confusing.
Here we explain what you may be asked to pay for and why.
CDW. This eliminates your potential liability to us up to the deductible amount or TPI excess for loss of or damage to the rental vehicle.
Personal insurance (TPI)
Third party insurance does not cover injury to you, or an authorised driver, when driving the vehicle. Furthermore, we do not accept liability for property lost or damaged when left in the vehicle, whether during the rental or after return. This is an optional insurance providing benefits to all occupants of the vehicle for death, injury and medical expenses arising from an accident and damage to or loss of personal possessions contained in the vehicle.
Road Assistance Service:
This is an offered for free product which supplements the Road Assistance Service included in your rate. It provides cover for the vehicle recovery and call out costs you would otherwise be responsible for if the reason for the breakdown or call out was your fault (for example lost keys or keys locked inside the vehicle, running out of fuel or using the wrong fuel, flat battery).
The eventual costs to repair the vehicle, the costs for replacement battery, replacement key etc. and any costs to change the vehicle are excluded. Charges: If the battery level at return is lower than at time of pick up, we will charge you for recharging the battery and a service fee.
PENALTY FEES:
Liability: You are responsible for payment of all fines, road tolls, congestion charges and other similar charges incurred in relation to the vehicle during your rental.
Statements: We are required to provide your details to the relevant authority who will send the fine directly to you. We will recover the costs we incur through a fixed administration charge which does not depend on the amount of the actual fine.
CHARGES EXPLAINED:
The following overview provides information concerning the most important charges. All charges are calculated in accordance with our current rates and subject to final calculation at the end of the rental. Please ask at the counter for details.
Extra Cleaning Charge
Applies if you return the vehicle needing more than our standard cleaning to make it ready for its next rental.
Fines & Administration Charge
Applies in addition to an increased rental rate if you return the vehicle after any applicable grace period for the rental
Location Service Charge
Applies at certain locations (e.g. airports and railway stations) to reflect the higher cost of providing services from there.
One Way Fee
Applies if you return the vehicle to a rental location other than that specified on your Rental Record
Rental rate Charged in 24 hour units and includes compulsory third party insurance.
Vehicle Licence Fee Passes on your share of the charges we incur for keeping the vehicle on the road.
Young Driver Surcharge Applies if you or any additional driver is under 25 years old.
Additional Driver Charge:
Applies if we agree to an additional driver for your rental.
Damage Administration Charge
Recovers our costs for handling claims relating to damage caused to the vehicle
Damage/Loss Charges:
Applies if the vehicle is lost or damaged and you have not accepted the costs of the specific cover.
Additional Mileage/Kms
Applies if you exceed the maximum mileage/ kms for your rental rate.
Delivery & Collection Charges
Applies if you request that your rental vehicle is delivered to or collected from a location other than our rental location.
Refuelling Service Charge
Applies if we are required to fill the tank on return
RETURN PROCEDURE AT RETURN:
You need to return the vehicle to the same location where you picked it up by the time stated on your Rental Agreement. Please ensure, where possible, that the vehicle is reasonably clean.
LATE RETURN:
Additional Charges: Your rental charges are calculated on a per day basis in 24 hour periods from the time shown on the Rental Agreement. If you return the vehicle late you enter a new 24 hour period and will be charged for that and every successive 24 hour period you enter before return, at a current standard rental rate.
Grace period: To help you if you’re running slightly late, we allow a small extension or ‘grace period’ of 2 hours to return the vehicle without being charged for an extra day. This grace period is subject to change by agreement prior to the start of the rental. Charges: We reserve the right to make a late return charge to cover the additional administration of dealing with a late return. Withdrawal of vehicle: After termination of the rental agreement or after exceeding the agreed rental period we are entitled to take possession of the vehicle at all times or to procure it at the costs of the renter and to charge, if applicable, additional use of the rental agreement. This also applies to Longterm (30 days plus) rentals if the renter is in arrears of the agreed rental fees for longer than 3 days or it is foreseeable that he can no longer meet the obligations of the rental agreement.
RETURN OUTSIDE OPENING HOURS:
Procedure: You need to have our prior permission to return the vehicle outside the location’s operating hours. You must also comply with the following out of hours return instructions (which are subject to variation by location, as agreed with you in advance):
– Park the vehicle in the Drive Plus® car park area or a secure place nearby, locked and with any alarm set.
– Inform the 24hours call center (+30) 6944 441731 about the exact car position, the car keys place, instructions where to find the vehicle and any other documents through the location’s key box. If there is not enough space, post the keys and instructions and leave the documents in the glove box of the vehicle.
Important: Do not give the keys to anybody when you park the car, even if they appear to be a Drive Plus® employee.
End of rental Agreement: Leaving the keys and documents in the key return box outside of the normal opening hours of the location does not constitute the end of the rental. You remain liable for any damages until a Drive Plus® employee takes possession of the vehicle, documents and keys when the Drive Plus® location opens.
CHANGE OF RETURN TIME/LOCATION:
Procedure: If you would like to change the time or place of return or arrange for us to collect the vehicle, you need to call the 24 hours call center of Drive Plus®. Any amendment to the agreed return arrangement is at our discretion.
Additional charges: Please note that a change to the return time may entail an increase of your rental charges because a different rate may apply.
In addition, if you wish to amend the return location, a One Way Fee may be charged. A return to a different location than rented is not allowed without our prior approval.
CONSEQUENCES IN CASE OF DISREGARDING THE RESTRICTIONS:
Additional Charges: If you return the vehicle late or to a different location you will be liable for additional charges.
Extension of rental agreement: If you fail to observe our requirements for submitting keys and a completed return form, your rental will remain open until we locate them and you will continue to incur charges. Return outside opening hours without permission: If you return the vehicle outside operating hours without our prior permission, or we are unable to locate the vehicle on return, you will remain fully responsible for the vehicle until we are able to locate it.
Dirt inside vehicle: If the vehicle requires more than standard cleaning on return to restore it to its pre-rental condition, allowing for fair wear and tear, you will incur a cleaning charge to cover our reasonable additional costs. Smoking inside vehicle: Smoking in our vehicles is prohibited. The renter will be responsible for the cleaning costs and repair costs in case of unauthorised smoking in the vehicle.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS LEFT IN THE VEHICLE:
Safekeeping period: Personal belongings left in the vehicle are kept for 2 months at the rental location. If they are not claimed back by the renter within 2 months we reserve our right to dispose of the items. If you wish the belongings to be sent to you, any costs which incur will be charged to you.
Liability: Under no circumstances Drive Plus® car rentals will accept any liability for any items that may have been left in the vehicle at the end of the rental.

PRIVACY USE OF PERSONAL DATA:
Our rights: When you rent with us, you consent to us processing your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. In particular, you consent to us using your personal information for our legitimate interests, including statistical analysis, credit control and protection of our assets. This may include disclosing your personal information to insurers and other organisations to assist in recovery procedures and counter fraudulent claims.
GPS – TRACKERS:
Please note that we track the location of certain vehicles via GPS Tracking technology for security reasons and may retain such information as necessary for those purposes.
Use for marketing purposes: We will only use your personal information for marketing purposes with your consent (where you have been given the opportunity to decline). Modification of data: You have the right to access, correct and/ or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Our Privacy Policy: For full information about how we process your personal data please ask at the rental counter.
We need to collect and store personal information about you to provide the services you request.
CONSEQUENCES IN CASE OF DISREGARDING THE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS:
Any attempt to drive abroad with Drive Plus® rented car, will result in the Rental Agreement being invalid and you will lose the benefit of all Insurance and waiver coverage you have taken. You will also be responsible to us for any additional cost which may incur as a result.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
In case of unaccepted use of the rented car, or not agreed payment procedures based on the renter, Drive Plus® has the right to collect the car immediately and in any case, without being responsible for the items that possibly the renter has left inside the car, during this action.
